Day 12

The next morning brings us a new tank fill and another long distance to go. The partial goal of reaching the North Cape marks the halfway point of our journey.
Next, we want to find out about the indigenous people of Scandinavia, the Samis. On this day, we drive all the way to Inari. We arrive at our destination later in the evening. In preparation, we find out which points might be interesting places for us to visit. We visit the Parliament and the Sami Museum. So we know which places we will visit tomorrow. We find a parking place in Inari where we set up the rooftop tent.
The whole day it has been rainy and the temperatures felt accordingly cool. With a cup of hot tea we warm up a bit and after brushing our teeth we slip into our sleeping bags.
