Kornati islands by kayak

Evenly our paddles dive into the water. Right, Left, Right, Left. Small swirls form in the glassy water. The waves swaying us gently back and forth. I lay the paddle in front of me and pass my hand over the side wall of the kayak.
One week ago, we started from the Croatian Zadar to explore the archipelagos off the coast – a time when a green two-man-kayak became a companion.

Transalp Munich-Venice

The idea of crossing the Alps has for sure gone through every head with love for the mountains. In fact, more and more people choose to cross the Alps by foot. However, before the adventure begins, the route has to be chosen, because there are countless routes across the Alps.

Kungsleden

The snow is crunching under the snowshoes. Nothing else: no noise penetrates the silent winter landscape. The snow sparkles in the sun and we are hiking in the middle of it. There is no one around but us from horizon to horizon.

Finally, it is time – we are on a hiking trip again. Let’s take our backpacks and make sure the GPS has the right information. ;)

“You are almost there!” sounds from above. Apparently my (climbing) partner Christian did not hear me.

E4 in winter

I’m covered in snow up to my hips. Every step again I break into the meter-high snow cover. Why didn’t I bring the damn snowshoes?
